Gallery
This page shows some of Joshua's favorite "commissioned" sculptures ordered by friends and customers. Joshua enjoys making the items you have seen on the catalog page, but really enjoys the challenge that comes with special orders. We hope you enjoy viewing the talent displayed on this page, sculpted from the hands of a 10 year old (now 12 years old).

"In God We Trust" Click to see enlarged image "In God We Trust"
In a time when we so often forget where our blessings and strengths come from, Joshua created this sculpture to remind us  who we are to put our trust in.  This is one of the larger scupltures that Joshua has done. Approx. size 9" x 13"

"...in God I have put my trust:"  Psalm 56:4    "... we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe.  1 Timothy 4:10

 He is Risen
"He Is Risen"
When Joshua was asked to sculpt an "Easter" design, an "Easter Bunny" didn't even enter his mind. This was a chance for him to express the true meaning of Easter and give glory to God for our "Risen Saviour, Jesus Christ." This sculpture shows a risen Jesus over an empty tomb, where the stone was rolled away. Inside you'll find an empty bed and grave cloth. A tiny blue bird is perched on top of the stone with a rabbit and flower garden to the right.   Click on image to enlarge.

"And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here; for He Is Risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay."     Matthew 28:5 & 6

Erik Hollander"Erik Hollander"
Joshua made this sculpture as a gift for Erik Hollander of Art of the Covenant (see our Links page to visit Erik's web site to view the awesome Christian art work he offers through prints, T shirts and more.) Erik has been a real blessing to Joshua. This sculpture challenged Joshua's skills, as he had only been sculpting 5 months when he created this one. Erik is wearing one of his Christian T shirts, holding a painter's palette in front of an easel displaying his best selling print "Jesus Wept." Erik does a little sculpting as well as painting, and gladly showed Joshua how to make a piece of purple clay look like a real robe drapped around a rugged cross Joshua was making for an Easter design. We could have some really amazing Child Artists today, if more adults would take the time to mentor and encourage other children. Thanks Erik!   Click on image to enlarge.

"Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." Proverbs 16:24

Indian riding a bear"Indian Riding a Bear"

Joshua has many requests to sculpt Indians. This is one of many Indian scenes he has done.

Papa's Humpty"Papa's Humpty"
Joshua made this as a gift for his grandpa in Tennessee. Several months ago, his Papa fell off the roof and was badly injured with a broken rib, cuts and bruises. Even though this was a tragic accident, God used it for good. When the doctors were doing x-rays to check for damage, they found cancer on his right kidney. This allowed them to remove the cancer before it spread. So, this little Humpty represents the fall of his Papa, with band-aids placed on areas that received cuts and stitches.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28

Joshua's first self portrait"Joshua #1"

Joshua's first self portrait is holding a miniature Noah's Ark sculpture and wearing his favorite blue pocket T-shirt, blue jeans and brown laced up shoes.
