| Step #5:Use a toothpick to make a
line for the MOUTH. Roll three 1/4" balls of Lavender for the BOW
TIE. Shape two of them into triangles and press on Body under the neck. Press
other ball into center of the triangles
Step #6: Curl two 1" pieces of craft wire into
antennas and press them into the top of the Head.
Step #7: Use a 6" piece of craft wire to make
your bug into a plant stake. Press it into the body about 1" deep.
You can also decorate a terra cotta pot with polymer clay. The one
shown at left was painted with yellow paint first. Then a strip of orange clay was wrapped
around the top edge. Flower petals and leaves were made and pressed onto the pot. No glue
is necessary. Bake pot and bug as directed. Lay bug flat to bake.
